Just days after Bloomberg named Massachusetts the top innovation state in the country, Gov. Baker slashed critical funding to keep us a national leader. Gov. Baker cut a total of $50 million from the budget, including areas important to job creation and economic development. Read more here

Despite his hometown, former employer and favorite sports teams joining the ranks of Democratic leaders supporting a push for the Transgender Public Accommodations bill, Gov. Baker continues to lead from behind – unwilling to fully reverse his 2010 stance against the legislation. Read more here

 

Party Building

We know Republican Super PACs are spending tens of millions of dollars of outside money across the country to try and buy elections, and they’re now targeting legislative races in Massachusetts. We also know the best way to fight back against outside money is building a strong grassroots organization for our Democratic Party.

Getting involved at the local, state or national level is a great way to help promote our Democratic values.
