Boston— In an effort to update voters on the secret memo written by Republican Charlie Baker, which laid out a scheme to hide the true Big Dig costs, the Massachusetts Democratic Party today announced a new 2014 version of its popular www.bigdigbaker.com website. The funding recommendations made by Republican Charlie Baker and outlined in the secret memo are still causing problems for important transportation projects across the state.

“It's ironic Republican Charlie Baker wants to even come close to talking about fiscal responsibility when he is the author of the secret Big Dig financing scheme memo which mangled funding for local city and town bridge repair and other roadwork,” said Democratic Coordinated Campaign Chair Ben Downing. “As the author of the damaging Big Dig funding ideas – hidden from voters until after he got past the next election – Republican Charlie Baker is the last person who should be lecturing anyone on fiscal responsibility.”
