The senior Senator from Massachusetts will address activists attending the Party’s Action Agenda Convention
BOSTON — Today, the Massachusetts Democratic Party announced that Senator Elizabeth Warren will be speaking at the Party’s annual convention on September 14th in Springfield. Senator Warren will address delegates and others attending the Party’s Action Agenda Convention.
“I am excited to join the Massachusetts Democrats at this year’s annual convention,” said Senator Elizabeth Warren. “Our country is in need of big structural change and the thousands of Democrats who will gather in Springfield next month, just like millions of others across this country, are going to be the people who deliver that change.”
“We are honored to have Senator Warren attend our Convention to address our delegates at this year’s Action Agenda Convention,” said Gus Bickford, Chair of the Massachusetts Democratic Party. “Senator Warren has been a fierce fighter for the middle class and a warrior for the values of the Democratic Party. We are so proud to call her our Senator.”
The Action Agenda Convention is an opportunity for activists to discuss and organize around the fight to make progress on real issues like climate change, healthcare, education, immigration, and civil rights.
