NEGATIVE ATTACK MAIL FUNDED BY OUTSIDE SOURCES SET TO FLOOD
SOUTH SHORE DISTRICT ON BEHALF OF TEA PARTIER GEOFF DIEHL
As Working Families Support Democrat Brady, Millionaires Boost Tea Party Diehl

BOSTON—Recent Office of Campaign and Political Finance records show a conservative outside group, funded primarily by out-of-district millionaires, is set to flood the 2nd Plymouth & Bristol senate district with misleading attack mail and digital advertisements in support of Tea Partier Geoff Diehl.

"It is interesting that an outside group called Jobs First would be pouring money into the campaign of someone who voted to cut one-stop job centers, manufacturing training, and multiple educational programs that would train our children to use critical technology so they could be ready for future employment," said MassDems Chairman Tom McGee. “South Shore voters are too smart to believe a group funded by conservative millionaires from outside the district truly has their best interests in mind by supporting Tea Partier Geoff Diehl and his out of touch stances that led his own Republican House leadership to strip him of a key committee assignment.”

Democrat Mike Brady – in contrast to Diehl’s outside support – has received the endorsement of organizations representing working families as well as local public servants.

OCPF reports show Jobs First has recently paid a Salt Lake City, UT firm $5,000 for digital advertisements and $15,460 in mailers to saturate the 2nd Plymouth & Bristol district during the last weeks of this special election.
