BOSTON – The following is a statement by Massachusetts Democratic Party Chairman Tom McGee in response to tonight's presidential debate.

"Tonight, the United States watched Hillary Clinton's real and thoughtful solutions to the challenges facing our nation. Her substance, steadiness, and experience stood in stark contrast to the rash, bombastic, and inaccurate performance given by Donald Trump. 

"The American people saw the difference between an experienced leader and an egomaniac playing to fear, hate, and division. Hillary Clinton has a vision that is inclusive and responsible. Her command of both foreign and domestic issues was unparalleled and proved that she is the one that can move our nation forward. Tonight showed that Hillary Clinton is the only real choice for President of the United States."
