MASS DEMS WEB VIDEO: STUDENTS SPEAK OUT AGAINST REPUBLICAN CHARLIE BAKER’S ATTACK ON EARNED SICK TIME PROPOSAL
BOSTON—As Republican Charlie Baker tries to mislead voters with misinformation about the Earned Sick Time proposal, students from across Massachusetts today provide the facts so voters won’t be fooled by the Republican candidate.

After the reaction from news reports that Republican Charlie Baker would deny nearly a million Massachusetts workers earned paid sick time by opposing the ballot measure this November – a benefit he likely enjoyed himself as a healthcare CEO – the Massachusetts Democratic Party released the following web video with students speaking out and providing the facts.

“As a healthcare CEO, Republican Charlie Baker should know better,” said Democratic Coordinated Campaign Chair Ben Downing. “Apparently it does not bother Republican Baker that a million people in Massachusetts – including disproportionate numbers of women, African Americans and Latinos – struggle with caring for their family everyday and deal with sick time issues all the time.”
