BOSTON—In light of blatant partisan electioneering by the Massachusetts Fiscal Alliance, the Massachusetts Democratic Party has sent the attached letters to the Internal Revenue Service challenging Massachusetts Fiscal Alliance’s 501(c)4 status as well as to the Massachusetts Office of Campaign & Political Finance calling on the Massachusetts Fiscal Alliance to register as a political committee.“The Massachusetts Democratic Party is simply asking the Massachusetts Fiscal Alliance to play by the same rules as every other political committee engaged in overt partisan electioneering and register as such,” said Democratic Coordinated Campaign Chair Ben Downing.
