Jobs and Employment

We’ve launched a resume bank so that individuals looking to work on Democratic campaigns and for Democratic organizations and leaders have a place to upload their resumes. Anyone interested in submitting their resumes may do so here.

Democratic campaigns may request access to view the resumes by emailing our Executive Director, Veronica Martinez, at

We will not remove resumes unless the individual requests so and campaigns will contact potential applicants through the contact information listed in their resume. We will share the resumes with any Democratic campaign that requests access.

Job Announcement: Blueprint to ‘22 Coordinator

The Massachusetts Democratic Party (MDP) is looking for a full-time, motivated individual to manage our landmark Blueprint to ’22 program. Our signature relational organizing program, Blueprint serves to build community and local organizing skills through service projects reflective of our Democratic values. This program will provide the foundation of our mobilization efforts in 2022, position the party as a resource and partner within communities throughout Massachusetts for years to come, and provide a point of entry to the party for folks interested in supporting Democratic values outside of a purely institutional structure. The position will transition into the 2022 Coordinated Campaign after the 2022 statewide primary.

Blueprint to ’22 consists of two main components—an organizing structure for developing and maintaining a network of 50,000 volunteers throughout the Commonwealth and a training program for volunteers to develop hard organizing skills in service of their chosen projects. Within these components, the Blueprint to ’22 Coordinator may expect to work with MDP’s Senior Political Director as we engage progressive organizations and constituencies, our Technology and Training Director as we develop technical resources and training materials, our Communications Director as we develop program materials and information, and our Executive Director as we track and monitor program progress.

More information on the program may be found here.

Responsibilities include:

  • Developing, updating and tracking program goals with the Executive Director
  • Recruiting and onboarding program captains
  • Regularly communicating with captains after onboarding
  • Tracking and managing staff engagement of program captains
  • Monitoring and supporting Blueprint team project creation and completion
  • Communicating the program, goals, and mission to diverse audiences
  • Supporting the partner outreach efforts of the Senior Political Director
  • Developing materials in partnership with the Technology and Training Director and Communications Director

  • 1-3 cycles of campaign experience is preferred, but extensive campaign experience is not necessary. Most important is an understanding of Blueprint to ‘22’s goals to develop local organizing capacity and the accessibility of the party as a resource for all who share Democratic values.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Public speaking skills.
  • Experience tracking and managing goals.
  • Good interpersonal skills.
  • CRM experience is a plus.
  • Knowledge and experience with state party structures is preferred.
  • Motivated by teamwork and a quick-paced environment.

No person shall be discriminated against in seeking employment with the Massachusetts Democratic Party because of race, color, religion, gender, age, national origin, ancestry, marital status, height, weight, creed, sexual orientation, economic status or disability.

MassDems staff is unionized through IBEW 2321 and this position will have the opportunity to join the union. Salary is commensurate with experience and in the range of $50,000, plus benefits. Please submit a cover letter and one page resume to no later than 5:00 PM on Friday, December 17, 2021.
