On to New Hampshire! Registration Deadline, Events & More.
Dear Democrats,
On to New Hampshire!
Well, it’s certainly been quite the week, but we made it to the end. Now, our candidates are off to a state a little bit closer to home. With another #DemDebate tonight at 8 PM (you can stream it live on any of ABC’s digital platforms, including their website), there are plenty of things happening in the Granite State over the next few days. If you’re interested in getting involved in New Hampshire before the 2/11 primary, check with your preferred candidate’s campaign for upcoming events!
With the New Hampshire Primary on Tuesday, we just wanted to remind you: February 12, 2020 is the last day to register to vote before Massachusetts’ March 3rd Presidential Primary. (Fun Fact: 2/12 is also the last day to register as a Democrat if you’re thinking of running for delegate to the 2020 Democratic National Convention–and this weekend is the last weekend of Delegate Selection Trainings. Find more information in the Dispatch below, and here.) You can register to vote, update your registration, view your ballot, and find your polling place all on the Secretary of the Commonwealth’s website.
No matter who you’re supporting on Super Tuesday, get involved! Knock doors, call voters, or host a house party for your candidate–you’re not going to want to sit this election out.
All the best,
Allison Mitchell
Communications Manager, Massachusetts Democratic Party
Ideas for Committees
Host a registration drive! With the deadline to register to vote in the 3/3 Massachusetts Presidential Primary right around the corner, consider registering voters at a local event or canvass unregistered voters near you. Check out our “Check the Box” handout for tips and tricks for registering voters in your neighborhood. Make sure you’re ready with pens, clipboards, and plenty of voter registration forms (which you can find here) in multiple languages.
