Congratulations to all the campaigns and their supporters on a tremendous showing of grassroots support this past Super Tuesday. Secretary Clinton and Senator Sanders’ camps left it all on the field here in Massachusetts and they both have a lot to be proud of.
Additionally, MassDems successfully elected three more Democrats to the Massachusetts State House on Tuesday with victories for Gerry Cassidy of Brockton, Stephan Hay of Fitchburg and Lunenburg, and Tom Walsh of Peabody – a seat previously held by a Republican.
Last but certainly not least, I look forward to working with the many activists elected to their town and ward committees this week as well as the many new and familiar faces who won their Democratic State Committee races.
