Greetings From DC – New Events and More
Greetings from Kate and Matt
Dear Democrats,
I am in Washington DC representing Massachusetts at the Democratic National Committee meeting. It is always energizing to be with so many committed Democrats. Hearing news coming from the White House just a few miles away has a different feeling. Being here with other Democrats emphasizes the power that we have to make change.
I have added some information on the Democratic Campaign Institute coming up in March. This is always a good event. Check it out.
Democratically yours,
Kate Donaghue
Democratic Campaign Institute
We are excited to announce the 2019 Democratic Campaign Institute, in Boston from March 30th and March 31st. Everyone is encouraged to attend, no matter their level of experience or skills – from those just becoming active to the most seasoned campaign leaders.
This two-day program will feature top political operatives and activists from Massachusetts and across the nation. Participants will receive hands-on training on all elements of successful campaigning including campaign plan development, strategic messaging, fundraising basics, and more.
Where: Roxbury Community College Reggie Lewis Center
When: March 30th at 7:30am to March 31st at 2pm
Tickets are $75. Financial assistance for tickets is also available here. We look forward to seeing you in March. 2019 and 2020 are crucial organizing years for us at all levels of government, and we are looking forward to building an amazing team of community organizers, activists, campaigners, and candidates.

Submitting Events
Please send us your Democratic events. We want to publicize what you are doing. We usually go to press on Friday PM, so make sure you send your info no later than Thursday evening to get into that week’s issue.
1) Use subject line “For the Dispatch”
2) Put your event information in text format in the body of the email. Please include start time, end time (if any), location (with street address for GPS), event description (it’s good to mention food/drink/donations/RSVP), and a link to more info.
3) Send to DDemDispatch-owner@
Note that unlike some other Yahoo groups, replies and other comments sent to us at ddemdispatch-owner@
The Democratic Dispatch is a more or less weekly e-mail newsletter for Democratic events across the state. Your editors are Kate Donaghue and Matt Shear. Pace Willisson handles the tech stuff. We edit this as volunteers as our way of promoting the Democratic Party, Democratic candidates and the Democratic Platform. The positions represented in the regular “Greetings from Kate” or “Greetings from Matt” reflect our personal positions, and not those of the Democratic Party.
Thanks! Kate Donaghue (and Matt Shear)
