Massachusetts residents saw their governor on the front page of the Boston Globe on consecutive days being exposed for his pattern of secrecy. First, for sneaking out of state to a conservative confab, and then for orchestrating a sketchy fundraising scheme with the national GOP.
This week was National Sunshine Week – a five-day salute to greater transparency in government and politics. And while, we continue to push for openness regarding the donors to Governor Baker’s $300,000 dark political fund and the Republican front group Mass Fiscal Alliance, you can see from the stories below, there is much more conservative political maneuvering going on behind the scenes of the Baker administration that the public ought to know about.
