GOTV Weekend! Canvassing & More.

Dear Democrats,

Municipal elections are only FOUR days away! These elections have direct effects on communities across the Commonwealth and issues like investing in public education and protecting immigrant communities are all on the ballot this Tuesday, November 5th. It’s essential that we elect strong, Democratic leaders who will stand up for our values and fight for their communities.

Democrats across this Commonwealth need your help with phone banking, canvassing, and more! Reach out to a campaign in your community or check out this list of critical races to consider volunteering for. If you’re not able to volunteer, it only takes a few minutes to post on social media and reach out to your friends and family to raise awareness about the elections!

Lastly, if your municipality has elections, make sure you and your family know when, where, how, and with whom you’ll vote on election day. What’s your plan to vote? Make one today and share it on social media. Help your friends and family make a plan, too!

Happy GOTV weekend, and let’s elect some Democrats this Tuesday!

Sincerely,

Patrick Coyne
Communications Manager, Massachusetts Democratic Party

Special Message form Kate Donaghue, Editor Emeritus
A new look for the Dispatch!

In 2004 Pace Willisson offered to help me with the Democratic Dispatch. I can honestly say that this decision was arguably life changing for both of us for reasons that I won’t go into. One of the first things that Pace did was write the software that we have used since that time! Pace did this as a volunteer and continued to maintain it in his “spare time.” Pace has been remarkably patient as we have transitioned the Dispatch. He is finally able to retire from the volunteer job he took on in 2004!

A special shout out today for Pace.

And adding my thanks once again to Matt Shear for the years of work he did with me as well. And once again many thanks to the team at the Mass Democratic Party as the Dispatch has moved forward. Thanks to Chair Gus Bickford for writing the software and overseeing the transition, Patrick Coyne, Communications Manager for his leadership, Cierra DeVos, who does the day to day work and of course Veronica Martinez, who keeps everyone on track!
