Events, Early Voting Information, and More – 10/12/2018
Greetings from Kate and Matt
Dear Democrats,
It’s getting to be crunch time! Now is the time to get involved. There are many opportunities listed here. But I’m going to highlight my PRE Birthday Brunch and Canvass. Does your schedule give you more free time on weekdays than on weekends? Join me at 10 am on Wednesday in Cambridge at 180 Fawcett Street. Details below. Shameless exploitation of my birthday to help elect Democrats!
Today, I want to stress that EARLY VOTING information is available across the state and remind people that the deadline to register to vote is October 17.
LINK TO EARLY VOTING SCHEDULE: https://bit.ly/2NG3e8C
LINK TO CHECKING YOUR REGISTRATION STATUS: https://bit.ly/1IYJYjQ
LINK TO REGISTER TO VOTE: https://www.sec.state.ma.us/OVR/
Remind family and friends to make sure that they are registered. Use the online link if the person has a Mass Drivers License or Mass ID.
This year, Massachusetts has offered early voting to all eligible voters! That’s right, we don’t need an excuse to vote before Election Day–we get to vote early at a time that works for our schedule. Early voting begins on Monday, October 22nd and ends on Friday, November 2nd.
Democratically yours,
Kate Donaghue
PS Please be sure that you use the DDemDispatch-owner e-mail address when sending in events. And please keep in mind that Matt and I work hard to try to get the most up to date information, but sometimes things change or there is a miscommunication. Check with the organizer or the website if you see something that looks wrong.
GOTV Strategy Training
Will you join us at a Massachusetts Democratic Coordinated Campaign Get Out the Vote (GOTV) training near you? Here’s what you’ll expect at our upcoming training and strategy meetings:
– You’ll hear about the Democratic Coordinated Campaign strategy to boost voter turnout throughout the Commonwealth.
– You’ll get an inside view of what our field operation will look like in the final stretch leading to Election Day.
– You’ll learn about the different roles we need for getting out the vote, and how you can be part of our volunteer leadership team in your neighborhoods.
UPDATE: Jay Gonzalez will be at the Framingham GOTV training to meet volunteers and say thank you! 10/14 4:00 pm, 1071 Worcester Rd.
