August 25, 2018/Dispatch
End of August Edition – 08/24/2018
Greetings from Kate and Matt
Dear Democrats,
Greetings from Chicago! I’m at the DNC meeting and hearing some great ideas on how to be more effective as an organizer and campaigner.
I’m keeimg my introduction brief today. Enjoy these last days of August and keep on working to elect Democrats!
Once again, many thanks to Matt Shear for all his work on the Dispatch.
Democratically yours,
Kate Donaghue
PS Please be sure that you use the DDemDispatch-owner e-mail address when sending in events. And please keep in mind that Matt and I work hard to try to get the most up to date information, but sometimes things change or there is a miscommunication. Check with the organizer or the webiste if you see something that looks wrong.
Ideas for Committees – Speaker on Ballot Question Two
A yes vote on Question 2 would establish that Massachusetts voters are in favor of a Constitutional for reasonable limits on elections spending, clarify that corporations do not have same Constitutional rights as people, create the first-in-the-nation non-partisan Citizens Commission to help draft, promote, propose & ratify the 28th Amendment to overturn Citizens United. YES on 2 (peoplegovernnoymoney.org) will arrange for a speaker at Democratic Committee meetings. Contact Wambui Gatheru at 508-735-9980 or Wambuig@americanpromise.net or to be connected with a speaker.
