Democratic Debate! Parties & More.

Dear Democrats,

Next Wednesday, November 20th is the 5th Democratic Presidential Debate! Ten of our Democratic candidates will take to the stage in Atlanta to share their visions for America and discuss the most pressing issues we’re facing. The debate will be from 9 pm to 11 pm and it will be hosted by MSNBC and the Washington Post. You can watch it on MSNBC or by live-streaming it on MSNBC.com, washingtonpost.com, or on the NBC and Washington Post apps. To find a watch party near you, look in the Dispatch, reach out to your local town or ward committee, check presidential campaigns’ websites, or host your own!

This debate isn’t the only Democratic event happening in the latter half of November! Candidates for 2020 elections are starting to announce and hold kickoff events across the Commonwealth. Take a look at the Democrats who are running to represent you! Now is a great time to hear about their priorities and plans for your communities. Town and ward committees, consider inviting candidates to your next meeting or planning how you’ll help local Democrats in 2020!

Enjoy the debate and as always, please send any relevant events you’d like to promote to events@massdems.org so we can share them in the Dispatch!

Sincerely,

Patrick Coyne
Communications Manager, Massachusetts Democratic Party

Ideas for Committees: Host a Holiday Party!

Many committees are holding holiday parties to bring together members, raise funds for their work, celebrate the efforts of activists, hear from elected officials, and strategize for 2020. If your committee isn’t already planning an end-of-year holiday party, considering holding one! A seasonal event like this is also a great opportunity to partner with neighboring committees to build connections and draw a larger crowd! If your committee is holding an event, be sure to send it into events@massdems.org so we can promote it in the Dispatch!
