Convention Week Issue – Many New Events – 06/08/2018

Greetings from Kate and Matt
Dear Democrats,

Thanks to all who attended the convention. Whether you were a delegate, an alternate, a campaign staffer/volunteer or a MassDems staffer/volunteer you all were part of making the convention work.

It was so much fun seeing Democrats from across the state and friends from across the country. And it was gratifying to hear from so many Dispatch readers who were helped by the Convention Guide. If you forwarded the Dispatch to someone, please invite them to join the Dispatch:
e-mail: DDemDispatch-subscribe@yahoogroups.com.

This Saturday, June 9th, there will be a memorial service held to honor the life of State Committee Member and Framingham State Representative Chris Walsh. The memorial, hosted by the City of Framingham, will begin at 3:30 p.m. on the steps of the Framingham Memorial Building and will include a procession by the Massachusetts National Lancers, a ceremonial cavalry group headquartered in South Framingham. It will be followed by remembrances at 4 p.m. and a reception at 5 p.m. in Nevins Hall.

Democratically yours,

Kate Donaghue

PS Please be sure that you use the DDemDispatch-owner e-mail address when sending in events. And please keep in mind that Matt and I work hard to try to get the most up to date information, but sometimes things change or there is a miscommunication. Check with the organizer or the webiste if you see something that looks wrong.

DNC – “I WILL RUN”
This week the DNC launched a new online hub called “I Will Run” that streamlines all of the tools a candidate might need in order to run a successful campaign. Through this first-of-its-kind hub, Democratic candidates will have access to a list of best-in-class tools and vendors – digital, finance, research, security, training, and voter outreach – that they will need through the life cycle of a campaign, complete with negotiated pricing.
