Convention 2010 Delegate Survival Tips: Workshop & Review of Rules
What should you bring? What should you wear? When do you need to be in your seat to vote? Where are the parties? What important information do you need to know?
All Delegates and Alternates to the 2010 Democratic Nominating Convention on June 4th and 5th in Worcester are encouraged to attend a workshop to hear what is new, different and share information.
Scheduled Workshops
GLAD-Sat. May 15th, 9:00 AM, Radisson Hotel, 10 Independence Drive, (on Rte 110- exit 34 off 495); The GLAD Monthly Breakfast meeting starts at 8am. The Delegate training will start around 9 to 9:30 AM. Contact: Tom Larkin, 978-275-8175.

Delegate Welcome Events
Friday June 4th Convention Welcome Party sponsored by Senator John Kerry, Governor Deval Patrick, Lt. Governor Tim Murray, Congressman Jim McGovern and the Worcester Area Host Committee. Festivities begin when the gavel goes down! The party will be held under the tent on Commercial Street and feature music from Wilbur & the Dukes. Light refreshments and cash bar.
Join Candidate for Auditor Guy Glodis at Viva Bene Restaurant , 144 Commercial Street, directly across from the DCU. Post Convention till closing! Kick off the Denocratic State Convention with a celebration for Equality!
MassEquality and the Human Rights Campaign are hosting “The Do Ask, Do Tell Party” at 86 Winter American Bistro located at 65 Water Street. Hors d’oeuvres and cash bar. 7 – 10 pm.
Celebrate with Secretary of State Bill Galvin, Attorney General Martha Coakley and Auditor Joe DeNucci at the City Park Grill, 50 Front Street. Food and music starting at 8:30 pm.
