DISAPPOINTED, BUT I UNDERSTAND

“While I am disappointed that Senator Kerry will not seek the Presidency , I respect his decision. It is an extremely personal decision that only he can make in consultation with his family,” stated Massachusetts Democratic Party Chairman Philip Johnston. Johnston stated, “Senator Kerry has been an outstanding advocate for the citizens of Massachusetts and would have undoubtedly made an exemplary President.” Johnston continued, “Senator Kerry will continue his leadership in the Senate by challenging the President on his reckless and hazardous war policies. On a personal note, I look forward to our continued working relationship and am proud to call Senator Kerry a friend.”
