Kerry Healey has spent the last several months holding her cards close to her vest.
Tonight it's clear where she stands on national issues. While other Republicans nationwide have refused to stand in the presence of Vice President Dick Cheney, Healey is welcoming him with open arms at a fundraiser in Boston .
From his handling of the misguided war in Iraq that has cost the lives of 57 Massachusetts citizens to his blatant disregard for the US Constitution, Cheney has violated the trust of all Americans.
Kerry Healey can't have it both ways.
“Kerry Healey is showing herself for the flip-flopper she is,” said Democratic Party Chairman Philip W. Johnston. “She plays a good public game of pretend, acting as though she is superior to the Republicans in Washington . The reality is she supports Bush and Cheney and has proven once again that you can't trust what she says.” |
