After nearly four years in office, Massachusetts residents are still waiting for Kerry Healey to tell the truth.
Kerry Healey claims to be pro-choice, but her refusal to formally explain her positions on women's issues shows an unwillingness to be held responsible for her positions.
“Kerry Healey must be studying at the Mitt Romney School of Campaigning,” said Massachusetts Democratic Party Communications Director Cyndi Roy . “Lesson number one: say what you think will get you elected, but don't be honest about your true beliefs.”
Healey seems to have learned one other lesson from the campaign missteps of our absentee governor: never commit your answers to paper. It may come back to haunt you.
“Voters are tired of politicians who try to have it both ways,” Roy said. “It's time we had a leader in the governor's office that we can trust to be answerable to Massachusetts citizens.”
Democratic candidates Chris Gabrieli , Deval Patrick, and Tom Reilly support a woman's right to choose and have completed questionnaires for the Planned Parenthood Advocacy Fund, the National Organization for Women, and the National Abortion Rights Action League.
