  During these critical times, we must all join in the fight to stop the compatible agendas of President George W. Bush and Governor Mitt Romney. But with that fight comes the responsibility of creating and achieving an agenda that enables all people in this state to live a decent life. Hard-working men and women deserve to keep their jobs, to send their children to good schools, to have access to high-quality healthcare, to live without fear and to participate in a community that not just tolerates but cherishes civil rights, equality, equal opportunity and equal access.
 

Unlike the Republican Party, we know that the strength of this Party, of this state and of this country, comes solely from the strength of its people and not from the wealth of a few donors or a few corporations who want to affect government with the sole intent of boosting their own bottom lines.

It is with this in mind that we designed the new www.massdems.org. We want to enable you to reclaim your government, to give you as many tools and methods as possible to, not only fight against the selfish interests of the Republican agenda, but to fight for your beliefs. And whatever you decide to do, however you decide to be involved in the democracy of this country, it is important. We hope this website will help you do it.

  • Now you can stay informed on the political news of the Commonwealth and then take action on that news in powerful ways. If you do one thing today, sign up for our emails. You'll receive immediate updates on what is really going on up on Beacon Hill that affects your life. These emails will include specific suggestions and methods on how you can take action to help fight for what you believe in.

  • Now you can sign up to volunteer for the Party, or even inform your local Democratic officials that you are available to help out on a campaign.

  • Now you can read up on the Democratic agenda so you can present our case to your friends and families in clear and concise terms. As Democrats we don't just criticize the Republicans, we have strong policies that we are ready to put into place. Policies that are fair to all our citizens, not just the privileged, and will get Massachusetts moving forward again.

  • Now you can sign up for the Massachusetts Democratic Party's Victory credit card. Every purchase you make helps us put candidates up for election that believe in the core principles of America: civil rights, health care, education, and an economy that allows men and women to earn a fair and decent wage.

  • Now you can get involved in your local politics. You can contact your town committee, and if you are already on a town committee, soon we'll have new services coming that enable you even more.
